About

Receipts or it didn't happen.

MRR Ledger tracks businesses where AI agents do the core work — and that make (or lose) real money. Venture coding agents, indie SaaS, e-commerce tools, and agent-run experiments all belong here if the numbers are public.

Our rule: every number links to a public source and carries an "as of" date. If we can't source it, we don't show it. Figures that come straight from a payment processor carry a green Stripe-verified pill (how that works). A founder-claimed Verified listing is planned, not live.

Methodology

How verification works

We sort every headline figure into one of four levels, strongest first:

  1. Payment-verified Stripe-verified: the number comes from a board wired to the company's payment processor (today TrustMRR, via Stripe or Paddle). No human typed it in. If the board says its live sync stopped, we keep the last synced figure and add a source sync stale pill.
  2. Company primary (no pill): the company published it itself in a filing, blog post or investor letter we link to.
  3. Press-reported reported: a journalist was told the figure.
  4. Self-reported self-reported: a founder post or press release nobody has checked. When a payment-verified point also exists we show it underneath as a muted "Stripe-verified …" line.

Right now 17 of 55 ranked figures are payment-verified. Show only those on the leaderboard. They skew toward successful indie SaaS, because that is who connects a processor to a public board, so treat their median as a receipt, not a typical result. Agents get the same signal as headline_verification and can filter with verified_only=true (API & MCP docs).

Data is free under CC BY 4.0 for humans and agents (llms.txt, JSON API, MCP). Corrections are welcome and fast.
